1. FDA certification

The full name is "FDA certification", and the food and Drug Administration (FDA) is responsible for food and drug administration. The FDA is responsible for ensuring the safety of food, cosmetics, drugs, biological preparations, medical equipment and radiation products produced or imported in the United States.

Amazon asked for FDA certification before the author sold sphygmomanometers and thermometers before. If the seller plans to sell food, medicine, cosmetics and medical products, first know whether the supplier has FDA certification.

2. CE certification

The "CE" sign is a safety certification mark and is considered to be a passport opened by the manufacturer and entered the European market. CE represents the European unity. The "CE" mark in the EU market is mandatory certification mark. In Europe, the inspection of children's goods is also becoming more and more strict.

3. CPC certification

The issuing agency of children's product certificate (CPC) is specially responsible for the safety of children products. However, children's toys and children products sold on Amazon USA must be provided with child product certificates.

CPC certification is applicable to all products with the main target of children aged 12 and under, such as toys, cradles, children's clothing, etc., which are provided by the manufacturer if produced locally in the United States, and importer in other countries. That is, cross border sellers, as "importers", need to provide CPC certificates to Amazon, which is a retail / distributor, to sell products produced by Chinese factories to the United States.

4. FCC certification

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is specifically responsible for ensuring the safety of radio and wire communications products related to life and property. The certification is mainly for computers, computer accessories, fax machines, electronic devices, radio reception and transmission equipment, radio remote control toys, telephones and other products that may harm personal safety.

If the following products are exported to the United States, FCC certification is required.

5. UL certification

Underwriter Laboratories Inc., UL, an authoritative and large private organization engaged in safety testing and appraisal in the world, is specialized in determining whether or not various materials, devices, products, equipment, buildings and other materials, devices, buildings and other materials have harm to life and property. The certification is mainly aimed at the safety of charger, mobile power supply, cell phone battery, lamp, household appliances, electric tools, etc.

6. Dot certification

The US Department of transportation (DOT) is specially responsible for the safety of various vehicles entering the United States. The certificate mainly proves the safety of automobile parts products.

According to dot requirements, the transportation vehicles (cars, trucks, trailers, buses, motorcycles, etc.) exported to the United States and their parts (brake hose, brake fluid, lamps, tires, safety belts, seats, helmets, triangle warning plates, etc.) must be registered and reviewed by the United States Department of transportation before entering the market.

7. PSE certification

PSE certification is a mandatory safety certification for electrical products in Japan, and it is also a compulsory market access system for Japanese electrical products. According to the product difference, PSE certification can be divided into "specific electrical products" and "non specific electrical products". The former is labeled with diamond PSE, and the latter is labeled with circular PSE mark.

According to the national law of Japan (electric device and material control law), 498 products must pass safety certification when entering the Japanese market. Among them, 165 class a products shall obtain diamond shaped PSE mark and 333 class B products shall obtain round PSE mark.

Scope of certification for specific electrical appliances of class a PSE:

·Wire and cable, fuse, wiring appliance (electrical accessories, lighting appliances, etc.), current limiter, transformer, ballast;

·Electric heating appliances, electric power application machinery (household appliances), electronic application machinery (high frequency hair remover);

·Other electrical and mechanical appliances for AC (electric shock insecticidal device, DC power supply device), and carry engine.

Category B Japan non specific electrical certification scope:

For the products certified by Japanese Circular PSE mark, products belonging to the catalogue of "non specific electrical products" must be tested by a laboratory approved by the Ministry of economic and Industrial Sciences of Japan to confirm that they meet the technical standards of Japanese electrical products, and obtain the PSE certificate of qualified test report before they can be sold in Japan.
